Alderwicks was established by its managing director Philip Griffiths in 2000. Prior to that Philip had spent the previous seven years with a major firm of solicitors with offices in London, Birmingham and Bristol.

Alderwicks is a niche commercial law practice with ISO 9001 quality management certification. We specialise in providing cost effective, comprehensible and timely commercial legal advice to local authorities, public bodies, higher education institutions and organisations within the NHS on all corporate, commercial , governance, PFI, intellectual property, regulatory and compliance matters.

We also provide complete legal solutions, including Company Secretarial, to small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) across the South Wales region from our Cardiff office and across the South West region from our Bath office.
